Sophomore Tyson Davis has a special teams TD for the 2nd opening season game in a row (Story)

Goodrich 2021 WR Tyson Davis returned the opening kickoff of their week 1 game as a Freshman in 2017 for a touchdown. As a sophomore in week 1 of 2018, Davis came through again clutch on special teams with a punt return for a touchdown.

It's extremely rare for a Freshman to score a touchdown let along on the very first play of their high school career and then the next year, follow it up with another key touchdown vs. nearby Flint Powers Catholic High School.
