Former Cass Tech QB Jayru Campbell scores 5 touchdowns in week 2 win (Story)

Cass Tech 2015 graduate, QB Jayru Campbell had no drop-off following an impressive week 1 performance on Saturday night as Ferris State shredded Findlay, 59-13.

Jayru Campbell accounted for 5 touchdowns in 3 quarters of action. In the first 8 minutes, Campbell found Muskegon grad Keyondre Craig for an 18 yard touchdown reception and Campbell scored a 1 yard touchdown run.

In the 2nd quarter, Campbell scored a 4 yard touchdown run and a 3 yard touchdown pass to Derrick Portis.

Campbell wrapped up his performance in the 3rd quarter after connecting with Williamston grad Sy Barnett for a 74 yard touchdown.

Campbell's final stat line was: 14/21 for 242 yards and 3 touchdowns in the air and 14 carries for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground.
