Farmington Hills Harrison 2019 CB/WR Rod Heard is visiting Notre Dame on Saturday
Farmington Hills Harrison 2019 CB/WR Rod Heard is visiting the University of Notre Dame this Saturday for their game against a highly ranked Georgia Bulldogs. Heard took an unofficial visit to Michigan State last weekend for the Spartans opener.
Heard is arguably the state's top 2019 CB and has been extremely active on getting on campus and building relationships with coaches.
Heard is a great cover corner and unfortunately was lingered during the summer months from an injury suffered from track in the Spring. Heard wasn't able to show colleges his skill-set in person which is a major obstacle Michigan athletes annually need to overcome.
Despite having 5 offers which include: Temple, Army, Purdue, Syracuse, and Akron, Heard is extremely overlooked by many.

8/23/2017: An unfortunate injury in track disabled him from performing in front of colleges this summer, so now that, that's in the past look for the Hawks CB to be in the discussion as one of the best cornerbacks in the state in 2019. Heard is a physical, lock-down type corner, who covers extremely well and suffocates receivers. Heard has elite ball skills and tracks the ball great. He can cover the 6'3+ receivers well.
College interest: As stated above there's a huge gap in his process this summer. Heard holds 5 offers. In these next 2 years, he'll be receiving more heavy interest.
