2 years-Freshman Year (Freshman football) and Sophmore Year (Varsity football)
I am keeping my options open to any college or university. The college or university has to fit me and what I would like to do.
Things that separate me from everyone else on the football field are leadership, work ethic, and a natural flow for the football. Leadership is one of the most important traits that any player can have, they can lift others up when they are down, showing a sense of never giving up, and always thinking of the team before themselves. You must absolutely be one hundred percent dedicated to whatever you are doing. On the field, you have to go your hardest and put in the work to play but also always show up to morning workouts in the weight room even when you don't want to. Lastly a natural flow for the ball is key. It is a sense to know where the ball is at all times. If you know where the ball is and how to position yourself for success, the occurring play will most likely be in your favor.
High football IQ, coachable, good tackling technique, linemen technique
I want to continue to be a great player by being all conference my junior and senior year, but also try to be all state. My goal also is to leave a lasting mark on the Plainwell football program in a good way. I learned that things get much faster as the level of play increases and that there was a big difference from being on the freshman team to the varsity team. Understanding this will continue to help me to raise the level of my game.
Playing football at the collegiate level would interest me greatly because it would mean I could still play the game I love so much. I would tell any coach that it is all about opportunities! I will take advantage of each and every opportunity that arises....the opportunity to work out in the weight room, the opportunity to watch team film and study opponents, the opportunity to rise to challenges on and off the field, the opportunity to make the most of every play, the opportunity to support teammates, the opportunity to listen to coaches and lastly, the opportunity to enjoy each moment that I play.
Moved up to Varsity for playoffs as freshman, started on varsity as a sophomore.
Won 2 bricks at the Linemen Challenge (hosted by Plainwell with multiple schools participating... at least 10-15 high schools) in Sled Push and Sandbags.
