Due to the snowstorm the Monday’s slate was significantly smaller. Marquee games such as Benton Harbor at Kalamazoo Central and Edwardsburg at Otsego were both called off. Despite the postponements there were still some close finishes including Kalamazoo Christian sneaking past Parchment 52-49. Howardsville Christian was also able to get past a talented young Eau Claire team 59-51.
Biggest Upset: Allegan over Paw Paw 59-43
Paw Paw came into the game 3-0 facing an Allegan team who only had two wins the entire season last year. Allegan clearly improved notching their second win of the season in just three games. Paw Paw is going to have to bounce back against Edwardsburg and Vicksburg this week if they would like to stay in the conversation for a Wolverine Conference title.
Best Comeback: Gull Lake
After defeating K-Central by 19 on Friday they beat Three Rivers on Saturday. With only one day of rest they were back at it last night against Lakeview. Gull Lake trailed Lakeview by 14 points at halftime and came back to win by 8. They will be playing at (3-0) St. Joseph tomorrow which will be another test.
