Rochester's balanced attack and strong defense highlight their 62-45 win over Royal Oak
The Rochester Falcons started pulling away from the Royal Oak Ravens thanks to a thunderous slam dunk from Rochester 2018 F LaMarko Gulledge as the 1st quarter expired.
Gulledge, a phenomenal basketball player was just getting started as the 6'6" 200 lbs player used his length to control the area near the rim with several easy close range shots as well as assists. Gulledge also displayed some nice jump shots in the win.
Through the second quarter the Falcons defense was warmed up and forcing the Ravens to take tough shots and their defense didn't relent until the starters were benched with 4 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.
Rochester really put the nail in the coffin in the final 1 and 2 minutes of the first half with a triple from 2019 F Corey Gulledge and Rochester 2019 G Drake Reid who is also a superb CB/WR during the Fall. Reid drilled home two 3-pointers, as part of a streak of 3 three pointers from the Falcons.
The Falcons went into the half with a ton of momentum due to the 3 pointers and didn't look back in the 2nd half.
Rochester 2018 G Hunter Schattler had a great game distributing the ball and creating space.
