Country Day beats Jackson Northwest to win the 2018 Class B State Championship
Country Day defeated Jackson Northwest 64-48 in the 2018 Class B State Championship game on Saturday evening.
It's the 2nd year in a row that Country Day has won the Class B State Championship and 3rd in 4 years.
Country Day got off to a fast start before Northwest settled in and fought the entire game to keep it close.
The Yellowjackets led by Jasmine Powell who scored 19 points were just too much for Northwest on this night.
